THe ISC is Expanding!

The Huntsville Ice Sports Center's expansion is poised to significantly enhance the local ice sports community. The project, estimated at $38 million, includes the addition of one full-size ice rink and a smaller dedicated curling rink with five lanes. A $1.6 million design contract has been awarded to ArcSpace Studio.

As of February 2025, the expansion has received approval from the Huntsville Planning Commission and is currently awaiting final approval from the City Council. Once completed, this facility will provide increased opportunities for hockey, figure skating, and curling enthusiasts in the region.
